Privacy

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to or stored on our servers.

We don't require an account and don't sell personal information. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to operate the site.

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to measure site usage: which pages are viewed and whether a calculator was used. It never receives the numbers you enter. When it runs, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and Google receives your IP address and basic browser and device information. Advertising features, remarketing and Google signals are turned off.

To decide whether to load Analytics, the site asks our hosting provider which country your connection comes from. Analytics is not loaded if that country is in the European Union (including the French overseas regions and the Åland Islands), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or if the country can't be determined. Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man are not currently excluded. Location is based on your connection, so a VPN may change the result.

Analytics is also not loaded when your browser reports a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal when a page first opens. Not all browsers offer or send these signals (Safari no longer sends Do Not Track, and Chrome has no built-in Global Privacy Control), so they may not work as an opt-out in your browser. Changing the setting takes effect the next time you load a page. These measures are our good-faith approach to privacy, not a guarantee of compliance with any particular law.
